 18.01.15//SUNDAY VIBES

Today I think I might take a wander up to Brick Lane and have a look at the Sunday Market. I haven't bought any magazines for ages and there's lots of newsagents in the Spitalfields area that stock niche magazines you can't get in your average supermarket or corner shop! The sun is piercingly bright but it's still bitterly cold outside so I think I'll throw my winter coat over my leather jacket to keep myself nice a warm!

 16/01/15:THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Imagine me getting myself all primed in position to take my photo's then something catches my eye,I look to my right and I see this beautiful creature just chilling out in the winter sun! I'm not sure if I've set eyes on such a beautiful butterfly in my life, but I took this rare sighting as a sign. The complete metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly has always intrigued and astounded me. This being a new year and all,  I don't know maybe it's a great time to transform myself? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy within myself and proud of what  I've achieved so far... but I sometimes feel that I hold back a bit because I'm scared of failure or getting hurt. Maybe if I allowed myself to let go of my inhibitions  I could achieve truly wonderful things

So thank you for the inspiration little butterfly friend, thank you very much indeed.

 13/01/15:SUNSHINE+SEQUINS
So,today I literally left taking the pictures for this post to the last minute. I had so much to do today then remembered I hadn't done a post yet!I got ready as quickly as I could and dashed out in search of the perfect place to take shots.... then it started to rain ahhh!! I managed to find a little sheltered spot then, this beautiful light began streaming in! It felt as though the sun came out just for me, like it knew or something :-)!! Do you ever have moments like that?

10/01/15: A WALK IN THE PARK

Today, despite the gale force winds, I went in search of a new place to take my outfit photo's!I find it so inspiring taking my photo's in new places, and I'm lucky enough to live near an amazing park! I've been coming here since I was little with my family and have spend almost entire summers here. I still find myself thinking how wonderful it is that parks this beautiful are free!!
It was freezing, so I layered up both my bomber and my leather jacket to shield me from the cold!

08/01/15:DOWN BY THE BIKE SHEDS

So, I was getting a bit bored of taking my outfit photo's on my balcony. So, I decide to be brave and venture out! It was so nice and refreshing to have a new backdrop.  To be honest, I only shoot my photo's on my balcony because it's convenient, and I can just run inside if I get too cold

 07/01/15: GREEN VINTAGE CARDI

It is not at all warm in London at the moment, so I dug out an old favourite; this huge warm vintage cardigan that I stumbled upon in TRAID in Shepherds bush ... I believe it was under £20 as well!! This bag is vintage too, but I got from Absolute Vintage in Brick Lane!
The top is a thermal one (which is totally necessary in this weather) from UNIQLO.
Those are my AA Riding Pants and my good old suede ankle Zara boots!

See you tomorrow!

 05/01/15:SPINELLI

Hands up, who watched Recess as a kid? I certainly did, this look is inspired by the biker boot, beanie wearing and straight talking Ashley Spinelli. Just to clarify this outfit is just inspired by her, she definitely wasn't running up and down the playground in a side split maxi skirt haha. This is the sort of outfit I could imagine her wearing when she grew up. I think we can all learn a lot from her. I absolutely loved her 'anything the boys can do I can do tooo....and better' attitude so much!
This extremely warm beenie is from M&S

This huge double sided, tartan blanket/scarf is from Primark.

The black jumper is from H+M
The leather jacket is from Topshop as are the boots.

...and the skirt is from Boohoo.com

 04/01/15: I LIKE YOU CULOTTE
(...see what I did there)

So, I have confession.... I'm a little bit obsessed with these, culottes. There I said it. Haha, no but really they add some serious cool factor and sophistication to an outfit. To begin with I didn't know what to do with these palazzo, capri pant hybrid creations, but now that they're in my life I couldn't be without them. I'd like to thank our mutual friend Primark for introducing us!
I styled them very simply, with this crop top from AA.

The wide brimmed hat is from H+M.
This floor length waistcoat was my mums.......until I stole it .

...and these suede pointed boots are oldies from Zara.

Hope you're having a great Sunday wherever you are and whatever you're doing!

 Let the sun shine

You would never guess from these pictures that it was a freezing day in the middle of Winter, would you? Today was so bright and beautiful it inspired me to peel off my Christmas pj's, dust of my camera and take some pictures! I had a guest appearance on set (hehe) today from my amazing big brother, who threw on a hoodie a hat at the last minute to help me even though it was absolutely baltic. It was weird having someone at the other side of the lense (and also nice, not to have to set the self-timer and sprint into place for every shot hahaha). Thanks so much Edward!

PJ'S- Primark
Bobble Hat- Lid's (in the US)
...also I've been busy making video's for my Youtube channel, in fact I literally just put one up so check it out!!
