17/01/15:THE VINTAGE JUMPER 

I found this black and gold jumper in Beyond Retro on Brick Lane(which is one of my favourite vintage shops in London. I love the 80's vibe it kind of reminds me of something Jem would wear.

It's slouchy,comfy and could be worn on a lazy day or dressed up for a night out!

 16/01/15:THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT 

 Imagine me getting myself all primed in position to take my photo's then something catches my eye,I look to my right and I see this beautiful creature just chilling out in the winter sun! I'm not sure if I've set eyes on such a beautiful butterfly in my life, but I took this rare sighting as a sign. The complete metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly has always intrigued and astounded me. This being a new year and all,  I don't know maybe it's a great time to transform myself? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy within myself and proud of what  I've achieved so far... but I sometimes feel that I hold back a bit because I'm scared of failure or getting hurt. Maybe if I allowed myself to let go of my inhibitions  I could achieve truly wonderful things. 

So thank you for the inspiration little butterfly friend, thank you very much indeed.

 15/01/15:LAZY DAY 

For those days when you don't want to do anything(which is most days for me!!),you just want to lounge around and just chill. Then you annoyingly run out of milk, bread or some other corner shop staple and have to 'pop' out and get it. This outfit is simple enough to require minimal effort on your part but I think the faux leather leggings give the look a bit of an edge :-)

 14/01/15: THE TARTAN SKIRT 

The American Apparel  Tennis Skirt has been on my wish list for ages! I love it in black, white ....all the colours, but the ones I love the most are the tartan, school girl style ones! However, I don't have £46 to spare and even if I did I think that's a lot for what it is. 

As I've kind of banned myself from shopping this month I've been rummaging around my old stuff to see what I can dig out. I found this skirt that I bought in the clothes section at ASDA years ago (pretty sure I got it in the kids section!) I mean I still prefer the AA one but minus the buttons round the waist on this one,they're basically the same skirt!  So, before clicking 'proceed to checkout' try delving into the depths of your wardrobe you never know what you'll find lurking down there!

 13/01/15:SUNSHINE+SEQUINS 

So,today I literally left taking the pictures for this post to the last minute. I had so much to do today then remembered I hadn't done a post yet!I got ready as quickly as I could and dashed out in search of the perfect place to take shots.... then it started to rain ahhh!! I managed to find a little sheltered spot then, this beautiful light began streaming in! It felt as though the sun came out just for me, like it knew or something :-)!! Do you ever have moments like that?
